Protection agaist the risk of eye damage due to exposure to sunlight (other than those occuring during a direct sun observation)

Recommandations for maintenance and storage:

Wash in soap water, wipe dry with a soft cloth after rinsing. Keep lenses free from scratches to maintain quality compliance.

Before use, check the product: Do not use if product is degraded, any deteroriation could decrease protection.

Warning: this product is not safe for direct solar viewing. Does not apply for protection against artificial light (solarium, laser, UV lamps etc.) Does not protect the eye against mechanical hazard (like shocks). For folters in category 3,2,1 (with Visible Light Transmission below 75%): does not apply for night or low light driving conditions.

The refractive index of a basic plastic lens (CR-39) is 1.498 meaning that light travels 1.498 times faster in a vacuum than it does through the plastic lens. The higher the index of refraction the thinner a lens can be to get the same refraction effect.
